The Fast and Furious 9 has achieved a new milestone now. The recently released film starring Vin Diesel had the most extensive opening day collection in a pandemic. And now the film has smashed all-new records as per a report by Variety It has surpassed $500 million in global sales at the box office, marking The Fast and Furious 9 as the first film ever to do that since 2019.
The only previous film which came close to the $500 million mark in this pandemic was Godzilla Vs. Kong. It achieved $446 million globally fell short to F9 by 4 million. But Fast and Furious 9 was strictly a theatrical release. On the other hand, Godzilla Vs. Kong was released on HBO Max and theatrical release due to the deal between Warner Bros and HBO Max.
The Fast and Furious 9stars Vin Diesel in the lead with John Cena making his first appearance ever in a Fast and Furious franchise; along with that; the film also stars Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Tyrese Gibson, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, Charlize Theron, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Dame Helen Mirren, Kurt Russell, and Cardi B. Initially the film was released on May 19th, 2021 on Korea and then it was premiered on June 25th, 2021 on the United States, now it is available both in the US as well as in the UK.
