OPPO Find X2 gets virtual RAM Support with the help of a new software update. The virtual RAM Expansion update seems to be in trend lately with recently launched phones, especially from Oppo phones with virtual RAM support. The virtual RAM mainly uses internal storage as RAM support and offers flexibility and speed when required.

In the latest OPPO Find X2, you can expand the virtual RAM by going to settings ->About phone -> RAM menu. You can expand RAM up to 3GB, 5GB, and 7GB. The feature is currently available on OPPO Find X2 only, and it is expected that more features will be provided with the software update. Once you go to the above settings and complete the RAM Expansion update, you will have to restart your mobile in order to see the changes.

This concept of virtual RAM Expansion update has been made in other mobile phones like Vivo and iQOO; even Realme had also bought in the idea of virtual RAM via Realme Narzo 30 5G. But Vivo and iQOO don’t let you select the virtual RAM amount; you can do it on Narzo 30 5G as well by navigating to the same menu as discussed above(settings ->About phone -> RAM menu).

The upcoming Oppo Reno 6, which will launch on July 14, will also feature virtual RAM support. However, it is not revealed what expansion options the device will get.
