Exclusive: Canada’s Drag Race has announced three new judges who will join for the second season of the series. Earlier this week, it was revealed that season 1-panel member Stacey McKenzie had left the series due to COVID-related date changes, even previously an American star. Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman also left the series during past spring.
The season 1 special guest Traci Melchor was also going to join the entire cast this time. Melchor is a full-time journalist and a famous tv presenter in an entertainment show called The Social.
Former US Fashion Police analyst Brad Goreski has also been added to the panel. The stylist’s previous memorable works were with The Big Bang Theory’s star actress Kaley Cuoco, Sarah Hyland from Modern Family, and Lea Michele from Glee.
Brad Goreski also stated that he is excited to join the panel as the show has been incredible so far, and he can’t wait to see the fantastic and artistic looks that the season 2 queens will be going to bring on the runway.
The next panel confirmed is Amanda Brugel(Rita) from The Handmaid’s Tale; she also previously appeared on shows like Orphan Black and Kim’s Convenience.
Amanda Brugel also stated her excitement about joining Canada’s Drag Race season 2. She said she is deeply honored to join the Drag Race family; she stated that she had been exposed to the exceptional talents of the northern queens. She feels fortunate that she will be able to witness such beauties on the runway and see who becomes the next champion in Canada’s Drag Race season 2.
With the new panelists now confirmed, Canada’s Drag Race Season 2 is expected to premiere later this year. RuPaul’s Drag Race UK also slated to release season 3 on BBC Three in the UK and on WOW Presents in the United States.
And also another series RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 6, new episodes, launches every Thursday on Netflix as it airs in Paramount.
