Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins Trailer 2 has been released, finally giving the fans a glimpse of the forthcoming reboot. Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins stars Asian leads such as Henry Golding as the eponymous ninja commando Snake Eyes along with Andrew Koji as Storm Shadow, Samara Weaving as Scarlett, Úrsula Corberó as Baroness, Peter Mensah as Blind Master, Haruka Abe as Akiko, Iko Uwais as Hard Master, and Takehiro Hira as Kenta. Here is the new teaser trailer.
Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins is all set to release on July 23, 2021. Directed by Robert Schwentke and produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Josh Feldman, Erik Howsam, and Brian Goldner, the film is about a lone fighter trained by an ancient Japanese ninja named Arashikage soon finds about his loyalties being questioned when some old secrets from the past are revealed. The lone fighter in the film is known as Snake Eye, and the film is set to bring out the origin story of Snake Eye.
After the weak response of the first part of G.I. Joe Origins movie that is G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra & G.I. Joe: Retaliation, the franchise took a long pause before making a comeback in the G.I Joe origins stories. As discussed above, Snake Eyes is one of the origin stories of such famous characters. The plot will mainly focus on the relationship between the Snake Eye and Strom Shadow and how they became entangled in the battle against Cobra.

The relationship between Snake Eye and Strom Shadow has always been complicated, and by the look of the trailer, it seemed that both of them would get a different origin story this time. Storm Shadow’s loyalties have constantly been tested with the complex relationship between him and Snake Eye. With this new trailer, it will be interesting to witness how their relationship is portrayed in the film.
Trailer 2 is full of action-packed action sequences; the trailer featured the villain Cobra, aka Baroness, played by Úrsula Corberó. But, it is not clear what the mission of Cobra is at this time and how all this will connect to the Snake Eyes origin story. If the franchise is looking to bring this G.I Joe franchise to life from this movie, it should feature other villains in the line, like Cobra Commander. But most importantly, we believe it would also be great if they mainly focus on the origin story of Snake Eyes.
