Breaking News: The Hardy Boys Season 2 Officially Renewed By Hulu
The Hardy Boys Season 2 will be back on Hulu. Yes, you have heard it right; Hulu has renewed the series for the U.S and Canadian kids’ broadcaster YTV. The Hardy Boys is a mystery drama series based on Edward Stratemeyer’s book and produced by Nelvana and Lambur Productions. Premiered back in 2020, the series is about two brothers named Frank Hardy and Joe Hardy, who are on a mission alongside their friends and father to find the truth behind something threatening to happen in their town Bridgeport.
The series stars Alexander Elliot, Rohan Campbell, Keana Lyn, Riley O’Donnell, Jennifer HsiungBea Santos, and Adam Swain as the main characters.
Nelvana and Lambur Productions has revealed that they will produce the series for a second season and picked up by Hulu and Canadian Kids broadcaster YTV. The series will be going to arrive sometime in 2022. The second season will continue the story after six months when a teen goes missing in their town, and a shadowy corporation moves into town. Now it is up to Frank and Joe to solve another complicated mystery of their hometown.
Pam Westman, president of Nelvana, revealed that the series was able to impress audiences of all ages in its first season, so that is why they have planned to move forward with a second season. However, this time stakes are much higher, and they are excited to work with Lambur, Hulu, and Corus. After the excellent response of its season 1, we can say that the stakes are high this time as the boys will uncover the mysteries of their town as a teen disappears suddenly.
Lambur, the executive producer for Lambur Productions, also added that
“It’s such an honor to be allowed to continue telling the story of Joe Hardy and Frank Hardy. The following season will give more suspense, action, thrill, and heart to our audience. We can’t wait to get started.”
The Hardy Boys Season 2 will be produced by Lambur Productions. The showrunner will be Chris Pozzebon, who previously worked on series like “Blindspot” and “Schitt’s Creek.” and Jason Stone, the head director of Riverdale. Furthermore, Amanda Vaughan and Kathleen Meek will be going to serve as the production executives for Corus.
