According to Nintendo’s website, Ubisoft’s Mario and Rabbids crossover turn-based strategy game is set to get a sequel. The game is currently listed on the page of Nintendo as “Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope,” and as per the official website’s updates, the game is set to release in 2022.
Ubisoft’s E3 is set to happen today at 3 PM ET (June 12th, 2021), and it is expected that Ubisoft’s Mario and Rabbids crossover turn-based strategy game will be announced that conference. The first Mario + Rabbids, titled Kingdom Battle, was announced back in one of Ubisoft’s E3 2017 press conference, so based on that, we can state the new game might also get announced today during the conference.
Mario + Rabbids is a Nintendo Switch Strategy game, and despite its odd nature of IP mashup, the first game Mario + Rabbids, titled, Kingdom Battle was one of the best early Switch games. It was mixed with Mario and Rabbids’ elements with tactical action strategy incorporated according to the gamers; it was one of the best tactical games by Nintendo at that time.
It was not surprising that such a well-received game would get a sequel after years later, but now it is finally happening, and all we can do is wait for Nintendo’s announcements on the new specifics of the game. The E3 Conference from Nintendo is expected to happen today, June 12th, 2021 3 PM ET.
