Key points from Battlefield 2042 Trailer

The game mainly focused on multiplayer mode and single-player campaign mode. But specific modes like conquest and breakthrough will support 128 players per server on the ninth-generation gaming consoles and PCs. However, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version will support only 64 players to find smaller-scale maps.

The trailer was shown on the official youtube channel of Battlefield and shows the game engine footage and what to expect from the game. The game even shared the footage on what to expect of the game. The trailer shows the All-Out Warfare and Hazard Zone, with another mode unveiled soon at EA Play Live, which is scheduled to happen on July 22. The All-Out Warfare will host a large-scale battle with Conquest and Breakthrough modes with up to 128 players. The thing to note here is 128 players will only going to be supported on the ninth gen console servers such as Xbox Series X/ Series S, PlayStation 5, and PC. However, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of the game will not support 128 players, but it will now support around 64 players.

The trailer also introduces a new “Levolution” element. This tornado moves across the map and can destroy any objects such as vehicles, players, and even some map portions. This time, the players in the game can also fly around the iconic maps and customize the guns whenever they want. The trailer also showcases the iconic Battlefield 4 move where the players can eject themselves out of the jets, shoot down the enemy jets, and get back on the plane again. According to the developers’ comment, it was necessary as the players need to get familiar with these types of gameplay. This is also the third mode of the game revealed by the original Battlefield 2042 website.

There will be a total of seven maps this time in the game, mainly Orbital, Hourglass, Kaleidoscope, Discarded, Breakaway, Manifest, and Renewal. They are the scale-up maps because of the size and to implement capture zone mechanics differently from the previous version of the game. YouTuber Jackfrags who shared his view on the story mode, said the game features AI soldiers, and the players will have an option to choose whether they want to play with the AI bots or with their friends, and the access to vehicles will be easier this time as well.
