Battlefield 2042 Trailer Revealed Pre-Orders will Start from October 22, 2021

Battlefield 2042 multiplayer FPP shooting game has been officially revealed for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The trailer shows its game engine footage; the game will be developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts. The game’s release date as of now has been expected to be October 22, 2021. The trailer shows some of the game modes.

The game will take things to the next level this time; the game will take up to 128 players. The game also features a giant map that will incorporate what develops call as; Levolution’ which is said to be an event that will alter the dynamics and predictability of the game. The developers said that this would be a new experience for the gamers.

The game mainly focused on multiplayer mode and single-player campaign mode. But specific modes like conquest and breakthrough will support 128 players per server on the ninth-generation gaming consoles and PCs. However, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will support only 64 players to find smaller-scale maps.

The trailer was shown on the official youtube channel of Battlefield and shows the game engine footage and what to expect from the game. The game even shared the footage on what to expect of the game. The trailer shows the All-Out Warfare and Hazard Zone, with another mode unveiled soon at EA Play Live, which is scheduled to happen on July 22.

The All-Out Warfare will host a large-scale battle with Conquest and Breakthrough modes with up to 128 players. The thing to note here is 128 players will only going to be supported on the ninth gen console servers such as Xbox Series X/ Series S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The trailer also introduces a new “Levolution” element. This tornado moves across the map and can destroy any objects such as vehicles, players, and even some map portions.

This time, the players in the game can also fly around the iconic maps and customize the guns whenever they want. The trailer also showcases the iconic Battlefield 4 move where the players can eject themselves out of the jets, shoot down the enemy jets, and get back on the plane again. According to the developers’ comment, it was necessary as the players need to get familiar with these types of gameplay. This is also the third mode of the game revealed by the original Battlefield 2042 website.

There will be a total of seven maps this time in the game, mainly Orbital, Hourglass, Kaleidoscope, Discarded, Breakaway, Manifest, and Renewal. They are the scale-up maps because of the size and to implement capture zone mechanics differently from the previous version of the game.

YouTuber Jackfrags who shared his view on the story mode, said the game features AI soldiers, and the players will have an option to choose whether they want to play with the AI bots or with their friends, and the access to vehicles will be easier this time as well.

Battlefield 2042 will be going to start on October 22, 2021. It will cost around 47.98USD (3 499/- INR) via Steam, Origin, and Epic Store. And for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, it will be going to cost around 61.69 USD (4,499/- INR). And for Xbox and PlayStation 4, it will cost approximately 54.83 USD 3,999/-.
