Jurassic World 3 Will Showcase A Parallel Run Of Two Character Sets
Jurassic World dominion director Colin Trevorrow, in an interview with Collider, unveiled the kind of plot
The final film Jurassic World 3 of the Jurassic franchise will carry parallel plots with the characters from the earlier films. Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum were part of the original cast and the main film was released in 1993. Jurassic World3 Dominion will be the third one in the Jurassic World franchise and the sixth one in the Jurassic Park franchise. It’s going to take in the characters from previous films alongside the ones from current films like Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas, so it’s not going to be a crossover in the normal way.
Jurassic World: the Fallen Kingdom had a cameo role acted by Jeff Goldblum and was said to have a more vital role to act in the next film. Filming of Jurassic World 3 Dominion started in November 2020 but interrupted due to repeated pandemic shutdowns resulted in shifting the release date from 2021 to 2022.
Jurassic World 3 dominion director Colin Trevorrow, in an interview with Collider, unveiled the kind of plot and story this last installment is going to have. It will feature two parallel stories, each running side by side, one having characters from Jurassic Park, and the other having characters from Jurassic World. In his words, it’s not a traditional way of storytelling, the plots and characters will go together, intersecting at one point in time as viewers will expect. Everyone will have their own screen time.
Originally, it was the characters will make a crossover similar to Marvel films or Fast and Furious. But now it seems it’s more like X-Men: Days of Future Past, where it had earlier characters of the previous franchise. Only there was a crossover between Wolverine and Xavier and his older self. As for Godzilla vs. Kong, there were two sets of characters in the two teams who didn’t know about each other until they meet at the end.
Trevorrow said that Jurassic World 3 Dominion will be the last film of the franchise. For him, the situation is the same as if he would be directing Star Wars episode 9. Jurassic World: Dominion will surely have competition, with names like Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Indiana Jones 5, Mission: Impossible 7, making the summer of 2022 much crowded. Let’s see how the last of the Jurassic brand draws in audiences. Stay tuned for more,
