It becomes possible due to the joint efforts of Blanca, Christopher (played by Jeremy Pope), and Judy (played by Sandra Bernhard).
The medicine starts working wonders on Pray. However, when he meets Ricky (played by Dyllón Burnside) again and finds that Ricky’s condition worsens, he secretly gives his AIDS trial drugs to Ricky. After committing this act of ultimate sacrifice, Pray dies.
His friends give him a befitting tribute by distributing lockets and sprinkling his ashes in the Mayor’s lawn. Blanca takes up nursing as a full-time profession, while Angel and Papi are successful models.
