After a grand weekend opening for A Quiet Place 2, the franchise Paramount has decided to make one more installment of the film A Quiet Place 3, dated March 31, 2023. That means ‘A Quiet Place 3’ is officially renewed by Paramount and slated to release on March 31st, 2023.
According to Variety director, Jeff Nicholas will be going to take over from John Krasinski. The third film will be based on an idea by Krasinski. As per updates, Jeff already handed over the script for A Quiet Place 3, and the film will be more of a spinoff rather than a spinoff.
For the third installment Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, and Krasinski will be the film producers, and Allyson Seeger will be the executive producer. We think it was an excellent decision to make Jeff Nicholas the director as previously he won the Cannes Critics Week prize for a sci-fi movie “Take Shelter,” which premiered at Sundance.
Quiet Place 2, starring Emily Blunt and Millicent Simonds, did incredible business earning $58 million on the weekend. And the ticket selling for the coming week is expected to be upwards of 20$ million now.
A Quiet Place 2 finds the Abbot family terrorized in the home. Now they are venturing into the post-apocalyptic world where they realized that the creatures who hunt people by sound there is a way to fend them off by high-frequency audio feedback signals. So the family is currently looking for remaining survivors and they have brought a portable guitar amplifier and microphone and hooked up Regan’s hearing aid to fend off the creatures. A Quiet Place 2 will also cross the $100 million mark by 3rd week in the domestic box office, which no film has done in this pandemic time apart from Godzilla vs. Kong. The first film was budgeted for around $17 million and did approximately $340 million. The second film is budgeted around $61 million and already earning $68 million it has made its fair share of profit and as next week and third week comes the film will surely touch the $100 million mark.
