The all-new Asus ROG Strix G17, ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition, is announced right after Computex 2021. AMD introduced Radeon mobile graphics on Computex 2021. So these new models are packed with AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU and Radeon RX 6800M GPU. This makes both the latest laptop, Asus ROG Strix G17, ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition, the first to be powered by high-quality mobile CPU and GPU by Asus in a single model.
The Advantage edition of both AMD Rog Strix G15 and G17 haven’t got their pocket pinch, and release dates are declared as of now. The ROG Strix G17 will be launched right away around the third quarter of 2021, but people still have to wait for some time for the ROG Strix G15 to get launched.

Let’s look into the features of the new laptops; both ROG Strix G15 and G17 have a display of 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch, respectively, with a refresh rate of 300Hz and 3ms response time. The displays of both models support AMD FreeSync Premium Technology. They will be powered by a battery of 90W/hr with fast charging of 50% in 30 minutes. In addition, they claim to provide video playback for 11.4 hours.
There’s a new feature in the upcoming laptops: AMD SmartShift, which automatically adjusts the loads on CPU and GPU, and this new feature improves the performance of the laptops by making them faster by 15%.
The laptops will be operated by AMD Ryzen 9 59000 HX octa-core CPU in keeping with the new RDNA 2 architecture and the RX 6800M GPU. The memory space of the models will be 32GB RAM and expandable up to 1TB. There are various ports like a 3.5mm audio jack, HDMI 2.0, three USB Type-A slots, one USB Type-C port, and one RJ45 LAN port. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.1 are the two connectivity features in the laptops.
The audio department of the laptops will be taken care of by two 4W speakers, each with Smart Amp Technology, AI mic noise-canceling, and inbuilt array microphone.
