Thor: Love and Thunder have finally completed its filming in Australia as Chris Hemsworth, AKA The God of Thunder of MCU, shared the details via sharing a picture from the movie set. The movie will be part of phase 4, which is all set to release in mid-2022. The filming initially began in late January at Fox Studios Australia in Sydney. It was then delayed for a certain time because of the COVID-19 pandemic; now, the film has finally completed its filming.
“That’s a wrap on Thor Love and Thunder. It’s also national don’t flex day, so I thought this super relaxed photo was appropriate,”
Chris Hemsworth wrote in his Instagram post alongside him; we can see the director of the film Taika Waititi. The buffed-up Hemsworth does not need to flex his muscle now as he already looks hot with big blond hair and big biceps; in the picture, we can also see Waititi appears in the character’s costume, Korg.
By now, everyone knows who Korg is first seen in Thor: Ragnarock and then in the Avengers: Infinity stone and Avengers: End Game; everyone now knows that the Korg character is one of the closest buddies of Thor now.
The film will be a blast and crazy off the wall funny and pull a heartstring or two. Lots of love, lots of thunder! Thank you to all the cast and crew who made this another incredible Marvel journey. Buckle in, get ready, and see you in cinemas!!” Hemsworth also wrote in the rest of the caption.
Apart from Hemsworth and Waititi, the film will also be going to star Tessa Thompson as New Asgard’s Quen, the first bisexual character of MCU and the first Valkyrie to be the ruler of Asgard.
Natalie Portman as Jane Foster/the female thor. The film also features the legend Christian Bale as the “villain Gorr the God Butcher” and other Guardian of the Galaxy stars such as Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, Jaimie Alexander as Sif, Dave Bautista as Drax, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Sean Gunn as Kraglin Obfonteri, Jeff Goldblum as Sakaar ruler Grandmaster.
The film will feature cameos from other stars like Matt Damon, Sam Neill, Luke Hemsworth, Melissa McCarthy, and Ben Falcon.
Damon will play Loki (he played Loki in Ragnarok is one of the dramas shown in the initial stage of the movie when Thor visits Asgard). Luke Chris’s elder brother is Thor, and Neill is their late father, Odin. McCarthy will be going to join them as Hela (Cate Blanchett played this character in Ragnarok). Falcone’s role is unknown as of now. Russell Crowe will also make a cameo in the movie as Zeus, the king of the Olympians. One more cast is Australian singer-songwriter Jenny Morris, who also has a secret role in the film.
