The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card by Nvidia was launched at Computex 2021. They are designed in the latest Ampere architecture and offer support to Nvidia’s DLSS upscaling technique along with ray tracing, Reflex latency tuning.
It is being said that the newly launched GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is twice as fast as the earlier GeForce GTX 1080 Ti and 50 percent faster than the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. In addition, the new GeForce RTX 3070 Ti is two times faster than the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti and 1.5X faster than GeForce RTX 2070 Super.
Pricing Of The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti
The Founders Edition of the card GeForce RTX 3080 Ti costs Rs. 1,22,000 in India ($1,199 in the US, or approximately Rs. 86,765 without taxes). And that for the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti will come at Rs. 61,000 on paper ($599 in the US or approximately Rs. 43,345 without taxes). The sale for the two graphics cards will start from 3rd June and 10th June respectively. Nvidia announced their Founders Edition cards to be of limited supply. Asus, Zotac, Gigabyte, MSI, Palit, Gainward, Inno3D, and Galax, the third-party OEM partners, are yet to announce their models and prices.
The market prices of the GPUs will likely be higher due to the global shortage of the same. Nvidia didn’t mention anything about hash rate limiting. There’s a rumor that this measure will stop cryptocurrency mining by using GPUs, the main cause of its supply crunch.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Launching SoonThe GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is packed with 10,240 CUDA cores which run at a base 1.37GHz. The boost speed is 1.67GHz. It will come with 12GB of GDDR6X RAM on a 384-bit bus and has a 350W power rating.
The other one, GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPU, houses 6,144 CUDA cores with a base speed of 1.58GHz and boost speed of 1.77GHz, respectively. The power rating is 220W and will come with 8GB of GDDR6 RAM on a 256-bit bus.
Not only desktop GPUs, but Nvidia also has many latest gaming and productivity laptops equipped with GeForce RTX GPUs. One such model is the Alienware x15, which is a 16mm thin gaming laptop. It has a display of a 15-inch 1440p G-Sync screen and GeForce RTX 3080 GPU.
Apart from this, Nvidia announced that now 130 games and applications are there supporting ray tracing and/or DLSS, like the new ones- Doom Eternal, Red Dead Redemption 2, Rainbow 6 Siege, and Icarus. In addition, Fortnite is about to get a new Titanium map and has a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics card in the background to mark its launch. Of course, it already supports RTX technology. Finally, Nvidia worked along with Orbx to release a free mod for the Microsoft Flight Simulator. It’s for enhancing Tapei’s downtown Xinyi district and celebrating the Computex 2021 spirit.
