Lucifer Season 5 Part 2, the latest season of the American comedy-drama television series, has finally been released on Netflix. An interesting fact of this season is Joe Henderson, the co-showrunner of the series, revealing that he has made a cameo in it.

In the final episode of Lucifer Season 5 Part 2, Maze leads a group of demons to attack Michael and the angels supporting him. Maze, Lucifer, Chloe, Amenadiel, Eve, and the other demons, fight with the angels who do not want Lucifer to become the new God.

Interestingly, one of the demons fighting against Michael and his followers turns out to be the show’s co-showrunner, Joe Henderson. He had revealed the cameo in an interview. He described how he looked, as a demon, literally losing his head. He said that he would be seen running towards an angel and then getting his head cut off in the scene. He mentioned that he shaved his beard for the role.

Joe Henderson explained that he got involved in the scene to save production costs. He mentioned that the demon he played needed to have no hair to make the beheading scene more cost-effective. However, erasing hair digitally using special effects costs a lot of money. So, as they needed a bald person, the production team asked him whether he would do it and would also be willing to shave his beard.

He mentioned that Miles Burris, the actor who plays Jophiel on the show, was extremely patient and helped him with the stunt. In the battlefield scene of Lucifer Season 5 Part 2, Jophiel kills his character by beheading him.

For fans who want to know when Joe Henderson would appear on screen in Lucifer Season 5 Part 2, you can find his demon form in Season 5 Part 2 Episode 14. The exact moment in the episode of the scene in which he appears would be 6 minutes and 23 seconds before the episode ends. The scene takes place immediately after the scene in which Chole is revived.
