Intel 5G Solution 5000 was designed and developed in association with Fibocom and MediaTek. The company’s partnership with MediaTek started way back in 2019. As a result, the 5G modem by Intel will be operating on carriers with several countries. In addition, there are a couple of the latest Tiger Lake CPUs in the market that step up the performance of the laptops, which are incredibly sleek and slim in design.

Intel decided not to continue to be a part of the Computex 2021 event with a presentation that showcased the response to the current situation of the Coronavirus pandemic. This situation has called for more and more PCs and laptops as people are engaged in doing work from home. Not just working, these machines are being required for studies, entertainment, gaming, and many other similar needs.

The executives of the company confirm Intel’s association with the IT ecosystem of Taiwan. The executives have also brought forward a few latest products, which include the upcoming 5G module for the PCs, the Intel 5G Solution 5000. In addition, there are also two new Tiger Lake CPUs, 11th Gen, being introduced for the laptops. These laptops will be lightweight and have a sleek design. For the PCs, Intel has designed the 12th generation Alder Lake CPU. This process is running on the desktop and even on some laptops.

A new 5G module in laptops will be seen in the market, with Intel bringing it’s Intel 5G Solution 5000.

The Intel 5G Solution 5000 has been developed with the collaboration of Fibocom and MediaTek. This is built mostly for PCs and laptops, increasing the demand for 5G connectivity. However, people who have to rely majorly on cellular data or other Internet devices that are wired will find this very useful. This partnership was declared back in 2019, but then Intel decided not to go ahead in the race of the 5G modems during then.

At that point in time, we saw HP and Dell partnering together to manufacture laptops with the 5G connectivity. Presently HP, Asus, and Acer have confirmed that they are working on a few laptops coming up during this year. The 11th Gen H series and the U series will be equipped in these laptops. More than 30 different types of laptops are being designed which will have the 5G modem in them. The processors used will be Alder Lake and the Tiger Lake processors. These laptops are expected to enter the market before the end of 2022.

There were a couple of Tiger Lake CPUs we had mentioned earlier in the article. One of them is the Core i7-1195G7, and it comes with a turbo speed that goes up to 5GHz. The other is the Core i5-1155G7 which will run with a frequency of around 4.5 GHz. These frequency scores go above the already existing scores of the Core i5-1145G7 and Core i7-1185G7, respectively. In addition, both these processors are equipped with inbuilt Intel Xe graphics. These processors will give some tough competition to the 5000 series of processors from AMD Ryzen. However, Intel says that these processors will be the leaders and trendsetters for gaming and other production work.
