Danai Gurira will return as Okoye, general of the army of Dora Milaje, in the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie by Ryan Coogler. The character of Okoye will also be reprised for a spinoff series which is supposed to go up on Disney+. This information has been sourced from DEADLINE.

However, it is not a shock if we see Danai Gurira also play a very big role in the Wakanda series, which will soon come up on Disney+. Ryan Coogler is working on the series currently. For the first time, the information about the show was revealed when Proximity Media and the said filmmaker had signed a contract for five years. This contract has included some exclusive deals which the studio is going to offer.
