ABC Network Has Cancelled Their Five Popular TV Shows

ABC recently canceled some of their popular TV Shows; the news has shocked the fans. Some of the shows that are being called off ahead of the 2021-22 season are Katey Segal’s Rebel, Call your Mother, mixed·ish, American Housewife and, For Life.

As confirmed by TVline, the list includes Rebel, a new drama premiering last month by Katey Sagal, and Kyra Sedgewick’s sitcom Call Your Mother. The network also said goodbye to mixed·ish Inspired by Keyna Barris’ black-ish and the legal drama For Life. Finally, it’s important to note that the American Housewife show ran for five years is also getting canceled. It’s not sure how the fans would take it on themselves.

The Rookie, The Conners, Home Economics, A Million Little Things, and The Goldbergs are some famous and loved shows that will continue to be shown on ABC. Blackish is a long-running show which might return with its last eighth season, as there had been teasers coming from the makers.

CBS’ Mom ran by both Allison Janney and Anna Faris, was canceled last year (2020-2021 TV season), which was an utter shock to the fans. Janney also shared some thoughts on why it’s canceled.

A veteran drama, MacGyver, also came to be discontinued on CBS. Yet again, shocking the fans since the creators said they had some plans for the upcoming season.

It’s not only the TV shows being dropped off. But shows like The Irregulars, The Last Kingdom, and The Duchess were called off by Netflix, thus calling off three shows in a single week.

Obviously, it’s not easy for the devoted viewers to take it easy that their shows got canceled. Yet they can’t do anything as the decision we think was solely based on the viewership and TRP ratings of those shows in the past season.
