The Family Man Season 2: Is it Releasing on June 11?

The Family Man is all set to return with its much-awaited season 2. Starring Manoj Bajpayee show might premiere Season 2 on 11th June on the platform Amazon Prime Video. However, an official announcement is yet to arrive from the makers.

According to Amazon’s official streaming handle on Twitter, LetsOTTGlobal, they are about to announce the release date soon. They informed the fans that the show already finished dubbing in four languages: Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu, and soon they will announce the release date for the dubbed languages mentioned above.

The news came as a surprise to the fans as they responded, saying that it is finally good news. Bajpayee increased the hype by retweeting some of the tweets of the fans.

The show was scheduled to get released back in February 2021 but got delayed. Later, Manoj Bajpayee, around March, said that the second season would come up at the peak of summer. So if the June release news gets confirmed, then his words can be taken solemnly.

Winner of several awards at Filmfare OTT awards like Best Actor, Best Actress, and several other awards, the cast consists of the stars like Manoj Bajpayee in the lead, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, and others. It’s important to note that Samantha Akkineni will be seen in a vital role in the second season.

The plot follows protagonist Srikant Tiwari, a worker at the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC) under the National Investigation Agency (NIA). It shows his disturbing family life consisting of his wife and two kids, balancing his secret low salaried job while investigating a potential terrorist attack.

What to expect from The Family Man Season 2?

The previous season ended with much suspense when the evil plan hatched by Moosa(Neeraj Madhav) was successful in leaking the toxic gas in Delhi. He planned to kill the people of Delhi with the leak of this poisonous gas, and as per the ending of season 1 looks like he was successful. The end of the season shows Zoya, played by Shreya Dhanwanthary and Milind(Sunny Hinduja), entering the plant but unable to stop the leak, and Zoya screaming as the gas started to leak.

Season 2 will pick up from where it ended, and other than that, it will show what happened between Suchitra (Srikant’s wife), played by Priyamani, and Arvind, played by Sharad Kelkar. It will turn Srikant’s personal life upside down. There’s a threat of Srikant getting accused of killing an innocent man on the career front because the terrorist Karim’s girlfriend called the video, which shows Karim innocent.
