A Bridgerton spinoff will be about a relatively young Queen Charlotte. This series will be coming on Netflix soon. This series will not just deal with Queen Charlotte’s origin story; it will also show us about lady Danbury and Violet Bridgerton. Shonda Rhimes will pen down the series. The executive producer panel would include Shonda Rhimes, Tom Verica, and Betsy Beers.

We have seen that Jesse Brownell serves as the showrunner for the third and fourth seasons of the show. He has taken over the work from Chris Van Dusen, who is presently working on the second season of the hit show. Van Dusen also played a major part as the showrunner in the first season. Brownell has worked on several shows previously, like Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, and one of the upcoming shows on Netflix, Inventing Anna.

As the expansion continues, the creators have the scope to dedicate more of Shondaland fold to the series verse. They are very confident about working with Jesse Brownell, and they had wanted for a long time to let her find the right project. As time goes, they are very sure that this voice will be an important point of success for the show.

After the debut of the first season on Christmas day, Netflix mentioned that the show would gather the interest of more than 63 million viewers in the starting 28 days.
