The new phone Asus Zenfone 8 provides a very compact design has two cameras at the back. The best part about the Flip edition is the rotating camera. There is a 5.9 inches display, and both of them have batteries of 5,000 mAh.

Both of these smartphones are flagship models. They are equipped with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The phones were revealed on Wednesday. Although both the phones have the same processor chipset, they have their differences. For example, the 8 Flip has a rotating camera that removes the notch from the front display. Thus you will get a notch-free clean display which makes it look even more attractive.

The phone supports dual Nano-SIM. The UI is ZenUI 8, which has been developed based on Android 11. The phone comes with a 5.9 inches FHD+ AMOLED display from Samsung. It has a fast refresh rate of 120 Hz. The maximum brightness goes up to 1,100 nits and has an aspect ratio of 20:9. HDR10+ and HDR10 certifications have been provided to the phone’s display. Protection from Corning Gorilla Glass Victus makes the display difficult to crack. There is an octa-core Qualcomm SD 888 processor, currently the most powerful phone processor in the market, and a RAM type of LPDDR5.

There are two cameras at the back, and the primary sensor is 64 MP. Sony IMX686 has been used in the main sensor, which has an aperture of f/1.8. The next sensor is an ultrawide Sony IMX363 12 MP sensor that has an aperture of f/2.2. Finally, in the front, there is a Sony IMX663 sensor of 12 MP. There is the feature of autofocusing in the front camera.

The storage category is UFS 3.1. All the connectivity options are available on the phone. These options are- Bluetooth v5.2, 4G LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi 6/ 6E, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C charging port. The audio has been designed better than how it was previously. There are three microphones with the feature of OZO Audio Zoom, and the technologies of Noise Reduction have also been used. The phone comes along with a 30 Watt USB power adaptor. The phone has a starting price of EUR 599 (which is around Rs. 53,200).

There are three cameras at the back. The camera module has a stepper motor and a sensor for proper angles to bring in better results. The primary sensor is a 64 MP sensor from Sony IMX686 with an aperture of f/1.8. The next sensor is an ultrawide Sony IMX363 12 MP sensor that has an aperture of f/2.2. Finally, an 8 MP sensor has a telephoto lens that provides an optical zoom of 3x. There are no separate cameras in the front. Instead, the rotating camera module serves the back camera as the front camera.
