Samsung Galaxy A22 is about to enter the markets in the upcoming days. It is being rumored that the phone will be the cheapest 5G phone in the market. Hopefully, the Indian market, along with a few other markets of other countries, will get the 4G variant of the phone. We are certain about this because the 4G model has been listed on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) website. The model number has been allotted as SMA225F. We can expect the phone’s launch very soon. The phone has also been spotted on HTML5Test Benchmarks. This website reveals it runs on the Android 11 Operating System.
The 5G model and the 4G model of the smartphone are built with the same design. It is also an obvious fact that the performance will be superior in the 5G variant of the smartphone. Till now, the chipset that will be used in the phone has not been confirmed. We assume that it will use Dimesity 700 or 720. If it uses a Qualcomm chipset, then it should be Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC.
Samsung Galaxy A22 has been listed on Geekbench!
The leaked image of the smartphone shows that it will come equipped with an LCD IPS display. There will be a fingerprint scanner mounted on the side. A few leaks also say that the phone will come with an OLED display having an in-display fingerprint scanner.
If we come to the section of optics now, the phone has three cameras at the back. First is the 48 MP main sensor, then comes the ultra-wide-angle lens, which is 8 MP. The last sensor at the back is a macro shooting lens of 2 MP. In the front, there is a 13 MP camera. This can be used for clicking selfies and attend video chats.
Information on storage or RAM has not yet been leaked or obtained. Coming to the part of connectivity, there is a 3.5m audio jack in the phone. There will be an all total of four color options on the phone- white, gray, purple, and light green. The price for the phone should be well under 229 Euros, which is around Rs. 20,450 in India.
