Castlevania Season 4 will be the last season of the series.
Castlevania is based on the famous classic game from Konami. Although the series is coming to an end with Season 4, the world on which it was established will continue to live. According to a few sources, it also feels that some new content will be built on the same universe but with a totally different set of characters and new stories.
The show gained huge popularity among the viewers and critics in a short period of time. The show’s second season had scored a 100% rating in Rotten Tomatoes and even received an IGN award for the Best Animated TV Series in 2018.
Castlevania Season 4 Gets a Release Date
The show was first launched way back in July 2017 as the first anime series on Netflix. It was also the second animated comedy in the adult category. The first one was F Is For Family. Then came the second season of the show, which received many awards, even a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The 4th season of the show is said to have ten episodes. The final season will release on the 13th of May, which is in a few days from now.
Ellis, who was the writer of the show during the previous summer, had already finished off with the script of the 4th Season. He was then charged with some serious allegation of sexual misconduct. Although he has denied having done anything of such a manner, he has been removed from the show. Not just this, it is being said that none of the other shows are willing to work with him anymore.
Castlevania Season 4: Expected Plot and is it coming on Netflix?
The first three seasons have been written and produced by Warren Ellis, a renowned comic book writer, and author. The series is based on a dark medieval fantasy that focuses on Trevor (played by Richard Armitage). From the Belmont Clan, Trevor is the only member who has survived and is trying to save Eastern Europe. Eastern Europe is on the verge of extinction because of Vlad Dracula Tepes (played by Graham McTavish). Trevor does not find himself alone. He finds a group of misfit comrades. All of them struggle to look for a way to protect humanity from perishing at the hands of the dangerous Dracula and the wicked war council of vampires.
The people who are giving the voiceover to the characters include- James Callis, Matt Frewer, Alejandra Reynoso, Tony Amendola, and Emily Swallow.
The visual part of the series is influenced by Japanese anime and the artwork which has been shown in the game Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Sam Deats will be the director. It was produced by Kevin Kolde, Adi Shankar, and Fred Seibert.
