The upcoming RPG – Cris Tales, which is being developed by SYCK, Dreams Uncorporated, and Modus Games, creates a lot of excitement among gamers. A new trailer of the game has been released, and along with that, the date of release has also been revealed.
Cris Tales derives a lot of inspiration and styles from the old-school RPGs like Chrono Trigger. The game was supposed to launch earlier in 2020. Due to the present pandemic scenario, the game has been delayed to 2021. The precise date was not mentioned earlier. However, through the presentation of Nintendo Indie World, we have come to know that finally, a date has been fixed for releasing the game.
This date was revealed during the new trailer launch of the game via Indie World’s presentation today morning. The trailer showcases the fighting mechanism the game uses, the mechanism behind time traveling, and many other such factors.
Cris Tales finally gets a release date
The game will be launching at a time on all the gaming platforms on the 20th of July 2021. The gaming platforms include – Google Stadia, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The trailer reveals how the character will be looking in the game. The gameplay environment also looks very impressive, with proper hand-drawn looks. The most unique and exclusive part of the game is the time mechanisms that have been used. The player can look at an area from three totally different viewpoints and perspectives: past, present, and the future.
The time travel mechanisms that the game has developed can be used in fights. If the enemy has been poisoned and is sent to future times during a battle, then the damage caused by the poison will hit him together. This will give the player a significant advantage while decreasing the health of the enemy. The time mechanism can also be used to turn the enemies into their older forms of themselves. This can make the enemy weaker depending on what kind of enemy the player is facing.
If you are interested in the game and cannot wait for the full game to launch on the official release date, then you can avail of the demo version.
