Gangs of London Season 2 is a British crime drama TV series that Matt Flannery and Gareth Evans have created and are making.
This series focuses on present-day London’s underworld, where gangs worldwide fight to gain power and control.
This violence is happening due to the murder of a powerful leader, Finn Wallace. The series came up in the United Kingdom on April 2020 on Sky Atlantic.
After the series became very successful in the UK, AMC took over this show’s broadcasting rights in the States.
It only took the show’s first episode to bring in 2,23 million viewers.
This made it the second-biggest launch of a series for Sky Atlantic after the famous show Chernobyl.
The series also became the most-watched series on the channel for the previous year. There is a lot of violence in the series, about which the critics have already informed the viewers. Despite this, the show is very likeable because of its mystery storyline and the characters’ sudden changing motivations.
The second season might also create a great response as it focuses on continuing the story where it left off last year.
Expected Plot of Gangs of London Season 2
We have seen in the first season that Fin Wallace was assassinated. The person who has done has not been caught yet.
This is just the beginning; the situation worsens when Sean, his son, tries to capture his position.
In another place, Elliot, an employee of the Wallace family, turns out to be someone else and has another identity.

Sope Dirisu will play the role of Elliot Finch; Joe Cole will play the role of Sean Wallace; Paapa Essiedu will play the role of Alex Dumani; Narges Rashidi will play the role of Lale; Asis Raza Mir will play the role of Asif Afridi, Arta Dobroshi will play the role of Floriana, Richard Pepple will play the role of Mosi, Orli Shuka will play the role of Luan Dushai among the many others.
Michelle Fairley will play Marian Wallace; Brian Vernel will portray Billy’s role. Even though Finn Wallace’s character is no more, there are a few flashback scenes where the character is on screen.
The first season had released in April 2020 in the United Kingdom. The date precisely was the 4th of April, and the show came up on AMC TV. In the United States, the show came up on the 23rd of April. There were nine episodes, and each of them ran for 53-93 minutes. Coming to the second season, we feel it will be released on the 24th of June, 2021.
In August 2020, Thomas Benski, the show’s executive producer, confirmed that the new season was already in the works. AMC finally announced a deal to take over US broadcasting rights for the show and became co-producer for the second season.
