Twitter’s new Spaces feature, which is already available on Twitter Android and for iOS, is currently under testing; this new clubhouse audio chat rooms feature called Spaces has been developed by Twitter. The new feature will be available soon for desktops now. App researcher Jane Manchun Wong first noticed this new feature in the web version of Twitter. Jane tweeted that
“Twitter is working on @TwitterSpaces preview cards for the Web App.”
After the first testing of this new audio chat feature, Spaces, a user can add people in Spaces where they will be able to talk through audio chat or have a conference, meeting, or even interview. Twitter last month announced that it will now expand the tests to the Andriod users in India; it will help them to join in the conversation where they can listen to speak live and can also host-moderated audio conversation.
Currently, this new feature is only available for few people only who are part of the app’s beta program in the country. In this new Space feature by Twitter, users will create a separate club where they will be able to add participants in the conversation. The people in the ‘Spaces’ will be able to listen or discuss anything through the audio chat, and the host will control who will get to speak.
The audio chat Clubhouse is gaining so much popularity among social media users. Even the top social sites like LinkedIn and Spotify are also looking forward to bringing in this new audio feature even reports say Facebook is also working on developing this Clubhouse feature for Facebook App.
