Hawkeye is supposed to come out on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar during the latter half of 2021. Emily and Etan Cohen will pen down Marvel’s Echo. In Echo, we will see Maya Lopez, one of the few deaf superheroes we can find in the comic. Hawkeye is still in production, but Marvel Studios has already started planning and developing a spin-off on one of the supporting characters in Hawkeye. The character we are talking about is Echo or Maya Lopez, who Alaqua Cox will play on Hawkeye.

Echo will be the first superhero who is Native American and is the second dead superhero in the MCU. Etan and Emil Cohen, husband, and wife, will pen down the entire series and be executive producers. It is not sure whether whatever happens in Echo will portray the events that had happened before or after Hawkeye’s events. Hawkeye, on the other hand, will be showing the events post-Avengers: Endgame. It will show Clint Barton training Kate Bishop to take over the mantle.

Echo is in development, according to a few reports!!

In the comics of Echo or Maya Lopez ( created by Davis Mack and Joe Quesada, late in 1999), we see that she possesses a special talent for photographic reflexes. This lets her copy others’ movements similar to the Taskmaster whom we will be seeing in Black Widow led by Scarlett Johansson. Black Widow has been facing a lot of delays due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Echo’s deafness brings a toll on her superhuman abilities as she feels terrified and helpless in the dark. She also cannot communicate with anyone wearing helmets or masks.
