In her post, she congratulated director Ramin Bahrani and the entire team of the white tiger. She tweeted that announcing the nominations herself was so special, and hence she was very proud of it. Priyanka Chopra included two pictures in it, and then she tagged Adarsh Gaurav and Rajkummar Rao.

In addition to this, she uses the hashtag in the name of Ramin Bahrani. Apart from it, many renowned people and actors congratulated her. We can see the level of excitement, enthusiasm, pride, and happiness of Priyanka Chopra Jonas that is surfacing on the internet nowadays.

On the other hand, in another tweet, she said to stay tuned for the next Oscar awards to be held on 25th April this year. It is two months already late for it to take place because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The White Tiger features Rajkummar Rao and Adarsh Gourav. The film went up to the nominations and One Night in Miami, The Father, Nomadland, and Borat: Subsequent Movie film. Actor Gourav expressed his happiness after knowing about the achievement of his film as an Oscar-nominated movie.

He posted a video on social media that depicted the nominations ceremony. We could see him cheering for the film when it landed in the category of the best-adapted screenplay.

About the Film

 

The White Tiger was released in 2021, starring Aadarsh Gourav, Priyanka Chopra, and Rajkummar Rao. It is an adaptation of a novel titled the same, written by Aravind Adiga. The book has already been awarded the Man Booker Prize of 2008. Ramin Bahrani directs the film. He is also the screenplay writer of this movie.

Interestingly, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is the executive producer. It follows a story of a boy who belongs to a village. Later on, he establishes himself as a successful entrepreneur in the country.

While both the prominent actors Rajkummar Rao and Priyanka Chopra Jonas were in the supporting roles, Adarsh Gourav played the lead character. His name in the movie was Balram Halwai. Apart from him, Priyanka as Pinky and Rajkummar Rao as Ashok did their parts amazingly. Before the Oscar nominations, The White Tiger was placed under the BAFTA nominations twice.
