Fortnite has brought us another new season, and the latest updates go deeper into the narrative of the battle royale. Epic Games has finally launched Season 6 of Chapter 2 of the game. It is dubbed ‘Primal,’ and the entire event takes place after the Zero Crisis Finale, which brought an end to the fifth season.
This season will bring a prehistoric biome to the gameplay island. As the players start playing the game and enter into Season 6 for the first time, they will be greeted with a quick video. In this video, Agent Jonesy tries to save reality through the adventures across the island.
In Fortnite Season 6 Chapter 2, we will get to see crafting, animals, Neymar, and Lara Croft.
In the new season, we will find a towering cone right in the middle of the island. This is the place where the zero-point explosion took place in Season 5. Now this place has its boundary with a village and new locations. The alien desert, which was there in the previous season, is also no longer there.
The animals moving around the map include a wide range, from wild boars and wolves to harmless ones like frogs and chickens. There are also a few other modifications made in the game- the players can build makeshift guns using a new kind of crafting mechanic. Different kinds of bows can also be designed from discarded machine technology and dead bodies of animals.
People who will be buying the battle pass in Season 6 of Fortnite will get the new character skins and other items unlocked. The characters that can be obtained in this season are – Agent Jones, another character named Spire Assassin, Raz, and another character who is described as the seeker of mysterious things. There are some other tie-ups as well; Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft, Teen Titans’ Raven, and even the Brazilian football star Neymar might also be seen in this season.
The previous season of Fortnite had begun during December 2020. During that season, there were many characters from Marvel’s storyline. This move made the biggest event for the game to date. Season 5 had other licensed tie-ins with The Mandalorian to Professional Sports.
Hopefully, in the upcoming days and upcoming seasons, Fortnite brings in more and more characters.
