This game will come on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. According to the CEO of PlayStation, Jim Ryan, the game will be launched in 2021.
The COVID-19 pandemic made the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn very uncertain. But we saw that Jim Ryan confirming in an interview that Horizon Zero: Forbidden West, Returnal, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will be released in 2021.

Ryan said that they are feeling very good about announcing the confirmation of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Horizon Forbidden West, and Returnal. He said there are two ways in which the products get launched- either by delaying the date so that better quality can be obtained when there is any kind of doubt or by launching the product on time irrespective of how the product might perform. Ryan confirms they always look out for making products with better quality.
The game carries the story of Aloy, Nora tribe’s young huntress, forward. She is sent to a mysterious frontier called the Forbidden West to look for a source of a mysterious plague. This plague is killing all the people affected by it. This game will perform perfectly and will also benefit from the increased power processing and the SSD for storage’s capability of the PlayStation 5.
The other capabilities of the PS5 that will enhance the experience of the gameplay are the Tempest Engine, the Dual sense controller, which gives great haptic feedback, and the shorter waiting time while the game is loading. In 2017 Horizon Zero: Dawn was considered the best-selling game when released in the UK in just one week of time. It surpassed the performance of No Man’s Sky as the largest game launched on PlayStation 4. This game was considered to have given better results than Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and was the biggest debut for Guerilla Games to date.
