Satyamev Jayate 2 vs. Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai
Satyamev Jayate 2 will be releasing on 14th May, starring John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar. The makers announced the release date on the occasion of Republic Day. At the same time, Salman Khan’s Radhe is set to be in theatres on 13th May. Before this announcement, the distributors of the film insisted him to opt for its release on the OTT platform, but he shared the information of the release date in theatres on Twitter. This time on Eid, both the films well hope to draw maximum of their viewers. Earlier, Satyamev Jayate 2, directed by Milap Zaveri, was planned to be premiered on the 12th of May, but now the scenario has completely changed.
Maidan vs. RRR
Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj vs. Shahid Kapoor’ Both of these films are the most awaited ones. RRR is directed by SS Rajamouli, who is planning to release it on October 13 in theatres. On the other hand, Maidan is looking forward to releasing October 15. It is directed by Amit Sharma. Although, these two movies feature Ajay Devgn. The news that stated about the plan of getting RRR released on 13th October had upset Boney Kapoor, the producer of Maidan. Starring Alia Bhatt, Ram Charan, and NT Rama Rao Jr, RRR is having a budget of around Rs. 450 crores while Maidan is not as big as that movie. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the release date of RRR was pushed back, which was earlier to hit the big screens on 8 January 2021. However, it is expected that Rajamouli’s film is to get more attention as it will be released in many languages.
Jersey vs. Prithviraj
On the occasion of Diwali box office is going to witness two films planning to clash with each other. Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey is a sports drama and is a Hindi remake of a Telugu film titled the same that was released in 2019. Prithviraj is featuring Manushi Chillar and Akshay Kumar that is set to be released on 5th November this year. Earlier, Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan was to hit on 5th November, but that got delayed. So, in that case, Yash Raj Films announced Prithviraj’s release on that date. Well, one cannot say which film will manage to attract and engage the viewers the maximum.
The trailer for KGF Chapter 2 became one of the most viewed trailers recently. The makers are hoping for the same success for the movie also. However, KGF Chapter 1 gained much popularity and is still in the mind of the audience. Starring Yash and Sanjay Dutt, KGF Chapter 2 will be in the theatres on July 16. Directed by Prashanth Neel, it is expected to be a big hit at the box office. While Tiger Shroff’s Heropanti 2 is also releasing on the same day. Although, there is a little chance for the shifting of a release date for Heropanti 2 as it is scheduled has faced some delay. But, till now, there is no such information.
