Moto is currently said to be working on a few smartphones for early 2021. These smartphones will be in the G series- Moto G10, G30, and G40.
One of Moto’s new phones- the Moto G40, will come equipped with Qualcomm SD 400 series SoC, which will have 5G networking specifications.
Here are a few key points of the upcoming smartphones from Moto-
The smartphone Moto G30 will come equipped with Snapdragon 662 SoC processor.
The Motorola Athena Geekbench list tells us that the phone will come with 4GB of RAM.
Moto G10 will sport a USB Type-C port and an audio jack of 3.5mm.
Moto has three new smartphones in line, and Moto G40 has been tipped for launch soon.
Moto is working on its G and E series of smartphones. The three phones in the G series that have been tipped are Moto G10, Moto G30, and Moto G40. Moto’s G40 has been given the codename of Motorola Ibiza. This phone will support 5G and be launching in February this same year. In the E series of smartphones, Moto E7 Power is also in the works and has been seen listed on a few websites.
Moto G10: Specs
Moto G10 or the Motorola Capri will come with a waterdrop notch display. The phone will sport an audio jack of 3.5mm, a Type C port for charging, and four cameras in the rear. The phone will also have a textured finish to make it look better. Motorola Capri will have a screen size of 6.5 inches and a screen refresh rate of 60 Hz. Qualcomm SD 460 SoC will give power to this phone. Regarding storage- the phone will sport a RAM of 4GB with memory options of 64GB and 128GB.
As we expect, there will be a quad-camera setup, the primary sensor being 48 MP, an ultrawide sensor of 8 MP, a macro sensor of 2 MP, and a depth sensor of 2 MP. In the waterdrop notch, the part will be the front camera of 8 MP. The phone will also have a dedicated button for Google Assistant, and regarding its battery, it reads 5,000 mAh. The phone will be reasonably priced at EUR 149.99 (which is around Rs. 13,100). The color options for the phone are Aurora Grey and Iridescent Pearl.
Moto G30: Specs
Moto G30, which has been given the name Motorola Capri Plus will come with a better screen than the previous phone. The screen is 6.5 inches in size with a fast refresh rate of 90 Hz. Regarding looks, the only difference with Moto G10 is that this phone has a glossy back panel. Qualcomm SD 662 SoC will give power to this phone. Regarding storage- the phone will sport a RAM of 6GB with a memory option of 128GB. The storage can be increased by using a Micro SD card.
The primary sensor in the rear camera setup is 64 MP. The other two cameras are the depth sensor of 2 MP and the macro sensor of 2 MP. For the front camera, it will have a pixel count of 8 MP for clicking selfies. The smartphone will support quick charging of 20 Watt for a 5,000 mAh battery. The phone will be reasonably priced at EUR 179.99 (which is around Rs. 15,700). The color options for the phone are Pastel Sky and Phantom Black.
Moto E7 Power
Moto E7 Power or the Malta Lite will have a water notch display like Moto G10. The back of the phone will have just two cameras. MediaTek P22 SoC will give power to this phone. There will be a fingerprint sensor present in the phone and a battery of 5,000 mAh.
Storage options are- RAM of 2 Gb and internal storage of 32 GB, and the other option has RAM of 4 GB and internal storage of 64 GB. The primary camera sensor in the back is 13 MP, and the macro sensor is 2 MP. The front camera will sport a 5 MP count. The color options for the phone are Oxy Red and Digital Blue.
Motorola Athena, aka Motorola Defy, is also in the works, according to a few reports. This phone has been found on the Geekbench list. This phone will have a Qualcomm SD (662 SoC) processor, Android 10, and have a RAM of 4 GB. The phone will sport an HD+ screen display.
