So the start of the year brings some good news for rom-com lovers!! They’ll finally be able to watch the sequels they have been eagerly waiting for. Today we’ll talk about the first look revealed of the new Netflix films The Kissing Booth 3 and To All The Boys 3.
For the uninitiated, we’d like to note a few basic details. The Kissing Booth is a 2018 American teen rom-com film which is written and directed by Vince Marcello. It’s based on the titular novel by Beth Reekles. It stars Joey King, Jacob Elordi, and Joel Courtney. The story follows Elle (King), a quirky teenager whose budding romance with high school senior and bad boy Noah (Elordi) endangers her lifelong friendship with Noah’s younger brother Lee (Courtney).
Though considered by critics as a misogynist, it had a sequel last year, The Kissing Booth 2. And now it’s time for the third sequel film.
Kissing Booth 3
Though we have to wait for some time, Netflix dropped in some clues as to what we can expect from the couples onscreen!
The Kissing Booth 3, it seems like Elle and Noah are going to use their summer together. Also, there’s even going to be a huge pool party, and fans wish they were perhaps invited to it!!
The ones loving the love only can skip to the:43 mark of the trailer, where Joey King of The Kissing Booth enters and says that I love seeing an incredible story come to a final end. Noah is seen to be loving Elle Evans at the waterpark, with Joey’s voice disappearing.
Then Lana Condor comes into the picture and responds to Joey, saying,
“Hey, that’s what I was gonna say.” Then Noah Centineo is seen asking, “We’re not gonna give away the ending now, are we?”.
Lana and Joey then point out and affirm the wait for the fans that they’re “definitely not” learning what’s going to happen right now.
Anyway, this sequel will see the entire cast coming back and is set to release in the summers of 2021! The film will be the final show of this entire thing and is a “culmination” of the coming-of-age story.”
To All the Boys: Always and Forever(3)
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is a series of three American teenage romance films, based on the trilogy of titular novels written by Jenny Han.
The plot is about Lara Jean Song-Covey, a shy teenager who wrote five letters — ones which she never planned on sending — to boys on whom she had crushed upon. The film is about her experiences after the guys receive the letters. The series stars Lana Condor and Noah Centineo.
To All the Boys: Always and Forever is the third sequel to this series. This film, which is the final installment, is set to premiere on February 12. The trailer starts in Korea, and Lara is seen telling Peter in her video chat about her break trip in spring. Peter K then is seen going down on his knee while out with Lara Jean at the diner where they started. Fans really hope that he is proposing to her!!!
But there are other unknown pieces of stuff that fans think about— will it be a long distance for them, or Peter will be joined at Stanford by LJ? As Lara asks him that Will she look back in 20 years and wonder if she had made the wrong choice or not?
Those peeps whom romances don’t interest, this year you can look up to the arrival of Don’t Look Up, a comedy by Adam McKay which stars Jennifer Lawrence, Ariana Grande, and Timothée Chalamet.
