Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503QS powered by Ryzen 5000-Series CPU reportedly will launch at CES 2021. Around November 2020, AMD Ryzen 5000 series CPUs were released. Intel’s CPU dominance has been demolished as the new Ryzen chips offered gains in comparison to their competitors from Team Blue, and now, the same chips are set to do the same thing to Intel’s laptop dominance.
With CES 2021 being just less than two weeks away, we are getting the leaks already. Then, we heard about another gaming laptop by ASUS that is likely to be coming up at CES 2021: the Zephyrus G15-GA503QS. Even without any official announcement from ASUS, the laptop model’s listing has been spotted on Amazon China, and surprisingly, it is still active. Amazon China has hidden the price, but sources like MyLaptopGuide has got some screenshots saved.
According to the saved screenshots, the pocket pinch for Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503QS is likely CNY 14,862 (Roughly Rs 1,67,000). The ROG Zephyrus G15 with Ryzen 5000 APUs is scheduled to be announced during the official event at CES 2021, which will be on 13 January at 10:30 pm (IST).

Last year, the first to adopt AMD’s 4000 series mobile Ryzen CPUs were the Asus ROG G14 and G15. The ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503QS is expected to come with the Ryzen 7 5800HS processor as well as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 GPU together.

Features :

The power source of Zephyrus G15 is the new Zen 3-powered Ryzen 7 5800HS processor (35W) from AMD, the successor to the Ryzen 7 4800HS. Without any official announcement about the Ryzen 7 5800HS yet, we don’t have any updates to offer you now. Though, It is rumored that it is an 8-core/16-thread SKU with such a base clock of 3.0GHz and a 4.3GHz boost clock.
The model will have 8GB of DDR4-3200 soldered onto the motherboard for its memory, and 8GB of DDR4-3200 is installed through an accessible SO-DIMM slot, which can be expanded up to 24GB.
This system has a 512GB PCIe 3.0 SSD loaded, but we really don’t know at this stage whether Zen 3 mobile processors can support PCIe 4.0 like Intel’s Tiger Lake mobile platform. Previously AMD’s Zen 2 mobile processors omitted this feature, so we’re hoping that it won’t be repeated with this generation.
As far as the graphics are concerned, it will be an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card, which provides a 15.6-inch Full HD display, which also comes with a fast 144Hz refresh rate, and perfectly compliments with the RTX 3080. Other important aspects include a 90Whr battery. The total weight of the system is 4.19 pounds, and this is excellent for a gaming laptop.
