The popular web series ‘The Family Man’ is returning with a second season. It is a web TV series on Prime Video developed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K.
It stars Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role and has stars like Priyamani, Samantha Akkineni, Sharib Hashmi, Neeraj Madhav, Pawan Chopra, Kishore KumarSharad Kelkar, Gul Panag, and Shreya Dhanwanthary.
The Family Man revolves around a middle-class family man, played by Manoj Bajpayee, who secretly works for India’s National Intelligence Agency (NIA). The first season is about how he investigates a potential terrorist attack while balancing his slightly unsettled family life at the same time. The show is inspired by the stories of the real-life newspaper.
The Family Man Season 2: The Return of Amazon Prime’s Hit Show
Fans have been awaiting the sequel to it, and finally, there has been a declaration about it. The streamer Amazon Prime announced to drop it on February 12 next year by releasing the first poster of the web series on social media on Tuesday.
The photo of the poster, posted on the Twitter handle, featured someone making the bomb ready and timer reading “2021”.The caption was, “Don’t know about the timer here, but we’re exploding with excitement. ” The poster as well a written post shared by Manoj Bajpayee.

According to sources, director Raj Nidimoru revealed season 2 to PTI; he said that the new season will be similar in tone to its original but will be exciting.
Raj said that this is the first time they have been in a sequel to a kind of zone. They haven’t done anything like this before. They did this because the world at the exhibition is so thrilling. It’s exciting and challenging to accomplish the objectives. They had to step it up. The upcoming season will be streaming in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
The second season will mark the vital mission taken up by Srikant (Bajpayee) and JK Talpade, played by Sharib Hashmi, as indicated by Prime’s press release. As in the previous season, Srikant will balance his high profile job and problematic role as a family man.

Another well-known review from Karan Sanjay Shah, Rediff.com gave a staring rating of 4/5 and called it a raw as natural, well- engaging and talking about script said that it is a well-written espionage drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
However, Suresh Mathew from The Quint awarded a 3.5/5 rating in comparing a relation to Sacred Games, said What makes Raj and DK bring to The Family Man is a total mastery over the craft of storytelling and also made a statement that Unlike Sacred Games storyline, The Family Man manages to remain eminently accessible while still retaining its finesse.
Ektaa Malik of The Indian Express awarded 3 out of 5 stars, especially mentioning the outstanding acting by Manoj Bajpayee and Sharib Hashmi, and Sumit Arora for dialogues. In praise of Bajpayee, Raja Sen of Livemint says that Bajpayee is an all alone enough reason to keep watching The Family Man series.
