Upcoming Games of PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo in 2021

2020 proved to be a hard year for each and everything. However, if we consider the aspect of gaming, 2020 wasn’t that bad. Towards the end of the year, Sony launched its most awaited PlayStation 5. Microsoft also launched its Xbox Series X|S. Apart from the gaming consoles, we saw NVIDIA launching its new series of GPUs.

We also saw numerous games being teased by the end of 2020. Many of them would have been released in 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all of them got delayed to 2021. The list of games involves some huge names for which people have been waiting for a really long time now.

With not many game releases in 2020, 2021 is going to be packed with some really amazing upcoming games from major titles on all gaming platforms- PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo.

Upcoming games across all consoles in 2021.

Halo Infinite

To start with the list of games, let’s talk about one which has been awaited for a very long time- Halo Infinite. This game will be about the adventures of Master Chief, who is ornamented with heavy artillery. 343 Industries are hesitant about the complete details of the Master Chief’s upcoming experience. But according to the previous storyline, it seems that Master Chief will be fighting the Banished, a Covenant splinter group that has won over a broken Halo ring.

People will be looking out for this game because they’re not just excited about playing as Master Chief but because this game will test the Xbox Series X|S hardware capability. This game is going to be an Xbox exclusive game.

Resident Evil Village

The series of Resident Evil goes on and on. The latest Resident Evil games include- the remake of Resident Evil 2, which was really very good as a game, and the second game was Resident Evil 3, which was somewhat okay. For the 25th anniversary, Resident Evil is coming up with a new game- Resident Evil Village. Unlike the previous games, this game will be a bit different in its approach. It will have a touch of supernatural activities, as the protagonist, Ethan, seems to be stuck in a village with a few “things” resembling a zombie-werewolf.

Resident Evil 7 tended towards bringing in a set of entirely new characters, rather than the staples- Redfield-Kennedy-Valentine, etc. The teaser of Resident Evil Village showed that Chris might return as the villain.

Vampire: the Masquerade — Bloodlines 2

Sequel to the cult classic game Bloodlines, Vampire: the Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is also delayed to 2021. This game promises to provide a role-play experience, just like the first installment.

According to the latest discoveries of the game, the protagonist of the game will make his way from the bottom of the society of Kindred. The character can also choose which dark bands he would like to support.

Hitman 3

Agent 47’s world-wide killing binge will be one of the earlier releases of 2021. Hitman 3 is set to launch on the 20th of January, 2021. It will be one of the first games of the Hitman series to embark on the Nintendo console. Hitman 3 will fully enjoyable in PlayStation VR.

The trilogy of the Hitman series started in 2016 with the game Hitman followed by Hitman 2. This game will again feature a lot of stealth kills and sound tactical decisions.

Monster Hunter Rise

Monster Hunter World was immensely successful, and the same can be expected from the second installment. Monster Hunter Rise will be exclusive to the platform of Nintendo Switch. This game will release on the 26th of March, 2021. The artistic designs of the game will have an Asian touch.

“Rise” in the game’s title tells us about the level design of the game that is vertical instead of the traditional horizontal. This game will showcase an open world. The most exciting feature of this game would be the mounts.

Horizon Forbidden West

During the revealing of PlayStation 5, one of the notable titles brought forward was Horizon Forbidden West. This game will mark the return of Aloy, the redhead archer, and her adventures will take place in post-apocalyptic California, which is referred to as the Forbidden West.

Regarding the game, nothing has come up other than the trailer. We have seen some really exotic locations in the trailer of the game. These locations are far more attractive than Horizon Zero Dawn. This game will be huge on the PS5 hardware and will test the hardware’s full capability.

Hogwarts: Legacy

Keeping aside Harry Potter’s author J.K. Rowling’s bad reputation, if you are a Potterhead and you want to explore, enjoy and spend more time in Hogwarts, then Hogwarts: Legacy will just be the perfect game for you.

This game will show the wizarding world’s timeline to which Harry Potter does not belong. There will be four houses in Hogwarts. In this game, we will get the experience of a wizard school. Crafting potions, learning spells, and going around the entire castle exploring will be fun in Hogwarts: Legacy.

The Medium

Looking at the horror games- The Medium promises to reach up to the expectations of the gamers. This game’s event takes place in Poland and will launch on the 28th of January, 2021. It is hopeful that Resident Evil Village might even launch itself in a few weeks since both the games belong to the same genre. So there will be some tough competition between both the games.

The central character’s point is that she can move between the human and spirit worlds whenever she wants. Apart from that, she can use her ability to solve puzzles and work out the truth of what happened in the abandoned hotel she’s stuck in.

There’s also some kind of evil entity called The Maw — it’s all very Silent Hill, and that’s never a bad thing.
