Intel’s latest Rocket Lake-S PC CPUs will be revealed in 2021. Leaked news about this particular CPU is all over the internet. For the first time, the Rocket Lake-S desktop CPU’s performance has been leaked by @TUM_APISAK, and we have in possession the Geekbench 5 score.
Intel’s latest Core i7-11700K beats AMD’s Ryzen 7 5800X benchmark scores in both the single-core and multi-core category.
Intel vs AMD: latest Core i7-11700K beats AMD’s Ryzen 7 5800X in benchmark scores
Recently the Geekbench bench scores have come up on the internet.
Just as we have noticed that the Geekbench scores for the single-core are very handsome, with the points rising to 1810. The case of the multi-core category is also the same. It has scored 11304 points. According to the leaks that have landed on the internet, the latest 8-core Core i7-11700K will possess a 3.40 GHz base clock speed, and it also contains a sufficient boost of 4.80 GHz in the single-core category.
In the second benchmark, the base frequency of 3.60 GHz and 4.99 GHz boost clock speeds are clearly visible. On comparing the scores with the previous version of Intel’s Core i7 10th Gen, the Core i7-11700K will work with 34% faster speed in case of single-thread and 26% faster speed in case of multi-thread activities.
On comparing this Intel’s chipset with AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, the working of the CPU will be 9% faster in both categories- single-thread and multi-thread tests. This clearly implies that the IPC improvement Intel had promised was not a false one. In the case of performance, it totally matches AMD. However, the CPU’s price to a performance ratio will decide the future of the company in 2021.
