Marvel’s Phase 4 is approaching, and all the new movies and series of Marvel Studios will release in the timeline between 2021-2023.

We are only a couple of weeks behind Marvel’s most ambitious, refreshing chapter. This Phase will bring for us a large number of TV Shows to enjoy. Not only are new heroes going to be presented on the big screen, but the old heroes will also make a comeback.

A few of the old superheroes returning are Loki, Thor, Bucky, Doctor Strange, and Falcon. The new heroes from Phase 4 will get their share on-screen in Eternals, Ms. Marvel, Shang-Chi, and others.

Some Big Upcoming Movies in the MCU Phase 4

Black Widow

 

The Black Widow Movie will be available on the big screen on the 7th of May, 2021.

Cate Shortland, director of The Black Widow, has confirmed the cast- Scarlett Johansson returning as Natasha Romanoff; David Harbour will play Alexi from Stranger Things’; Yelena Belova is played Florence Pugh; O-T Fagbenle plays Mason, and Rachel Weisz plays Melinda Vostokoff AKA Iron Maiden in the comics. The cast for The Taskmaster has not been disclosed till now.

According to the director, the plot will make the audience understand the Black Widow’s past. 

 

Scarlett Johansson said that her character had been played as a “fully realized woman.” She is very excited to see the reaction of the fans when they get to know about Natasha Romanoff in detail.

 

The Black Widow Movie timeline has been fixed between the release of Captain America: Civil War and the penultimate Avengers: Infinity War. 

Shang-Chi: And The Legend of The Ten Rings

Shang-Chi: And The Legend Of The Ten Rings, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, is all set to release on the 2nd september, 2021, for the big screens.

This movie featuring Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, the Master of Kung-Fu, will be the first superhero movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with an Asian in the lead role.

Tony Leung will play Wenwu, Katy (a friend of Shang-Chi) will be played by Awkwafina, and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan.

Eternals

 

Eternals from Phase 4 will get their chance on the big screen on the 5th of November, 2021. Chloe Zhao, director of Eternals, promises this movie will showcase a fantastic group of immortals. 

Eternals’ cast includes- Richard Madden as Ikaris, Angelina Jolie as Athena, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Salma Hayek as Ajak (the leader of the Eternals).

Brian Tyree Henry as Phaistos, Don Lee is acting as the hulking Gilgamesh, Lia McHugh in the role of Sprite, and Lauren as Makkari. Kit Harington, a famous Game of Thrones actor, will be playing the part of the Black Knight.

Eternals were actually a band of immortal aliens sent to our planet to protect the humans from any kind of danger from the Deviants.

MCU Phase 4 Spider-Man 3

 

Marvel’s The Spider-Man 3 will release on December 17, 2021. the title of this particular movie has not been confirmed as of now.

What should we expect in this movie? The details have not yet come out, but one thing is for sure, this will movie will be the successor of Spider-Man: Far From Home.

In this movie, we will be again seeing the character Electro, played by Jamie Foxx. A few leaks say that Doctor Octopus might return, and none other than Alfred Molina will be playing the role. 

The most interesting of all the leaks that have landed on the internet is that Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield might also have an on-screen appearance as Spider-Man.

Thor: Love and Thunder

Chris Hemsworth starrer Thor: Love and Thunder will hit the big screens on May 6, 2022. And guess it’s not just Thor anymore. It’s now the Mighty Thor.

Chris Hemsworth will be back in the lead as Thor, Tessa Thompson returns for the third time as Valkyrie. Taika Waititi will be the writer and director for the new installment of Thor. The star cast does not end over here- Christian Bale plays the role of Gorr the God Butcher(the villain).

Taika Watiti has slipped in a handful of details of the new movie. One of them being Valkyrie’s search for a queen to rule along with her.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

 

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will hit the theatres on March 25, 2022. Director Scott Derrickson and writer Robert Cargill have stepped down due to differences in opinions. Replacements have not yet been announced officially.

The actors in this movie are Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. The movie will be directly linked to the other two films in MCU- WandaVision and Spider-Man 3.

These Phase 4 MCU movies might also feature some of the Actors from TV Shows like Jon Bernthal’s Punisher and Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock, aka The Dare Devil.
