Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 might be closer than we expected back in 2019. With season 2’s conclusion happening back in 2019, there has been a void left to fill, and with how things are proceeding, Animation Studio BONES might finally lift the curtain on Mob Psycho Season 3’s renewal.

One of the critical areas for the show’s return has been the storyline. As fans already know, season 2’s finale witnessed an epic showdown between Mob and Suzuki Toichiro.
Mob seizing victory against Suzuki Toichiro was inevitable; however, with the main antagonist taken down, someone has to take charge. This is where it gets critical as, if we go by its source material, most of the original story arc has been covered.
There are still substantial load chapters left to cover as per reports, so with such a high number of additional content, ONE and studio BONES has still some work to do.
According to spoilers on Reddit, the prime attraction would be to adapt the last few chapters for Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 within ten episodes to provide a proper conclusion. The arcs and their pacing are as follows:
- Broccoli arc – Might take up to 4 episodes
- Telepathy Club arc – This might target to finish within two episodes
- ???% arc – This arc will most likely target to conclude the story of ‘Mob Psycho 100’ is within the final four episodes
- Some filler content showing the dynamics of the characters

In the finale of Mob Psycho 100 Season 2, after defeating Suzuki Toichiro, Mob took him into custody, and an enraged Toichiro turned himself into a live bomb. To reduce the devastating power of the explosion, Mob transferred the power into his body.
However, it came with a huge cost as it cost him his natural power, ultimately turning him weak. Seeing all this, Toichiro softens and eventually surrenders himself.
It might seem like the perfect conclusion, but season 3 still has content in store for us.
With Toichiro out of the action, we might get to see a new antagonist wreaking havoc once again. Apart from that, Mob’s new life and how he deals with his current weak state will also be a key point to explore.
Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 Release Date: When might season 3 premiere?
The previous season, i.e., season 2, concluded on July 18, 2019, and it ran for 13 episodes. From its previous pattern, it’s safe to assume that season 3 will probably target for at least ten episodes (discussed above).
Now, with episode count addressed, the main question is ‘when will Mob Psycho Season 3 release?’ As of now, we finally have an announcement from BONES; the studio has finally announced about Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 and as per the updates it suggests that Q3- Q4 of 2022 will be a plausible window for the release of season 3.
There have been discussions on Reddit that Bones Studio might treat fans with a new Mob Psycho 100 Movie or OVA to conclude its ongoing story. But because of lack of legitimacy, it isn’t very likely for the team to follow this route.
