Amber Heard registered for Separation from Depp back in 2016 on the grounds of domestic abuse. Johnny Depp, who was recently removed from ‘Fantastic Beasts 3’ as he will no longer play the character of Gellert Grindelwald, now has been replaced by Mads Mikkelsen for the same role. So, a large group of Depp fans has signed over 1,164,639+ petitions and counting to remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have been battling in courts for months now. Recently Depp accused The Sun Media of publishing and referring to him as a wife-beater.” The judge eventually sided with The Sun. That decision was followed by Warner Bros’s action to remove Depp from his role as Grindelwald from the Fantastic Beasts movies. And now, around a million Johnny Depp fans have signed a petition to remove Heard from her role in the Aquaman franchise.

The petition was filed in Change.Org titled ‘Remove Amber Heard From Aquaman Franchise,’ and the online campaign has already managed to gather more than 1,164,639+ petitions signed in favor of Depp. Another similar petition was filed on Change.Org titled ‘Johnny Depp as Grindelwald!‘ there also the fans who have showered their support by signing more than 1,01,000+ petitions(the numbers are still increasing every second).
The Warner Bros is in-charge of both Wizarding World movie and the DC Extended Universe, so it eventually comes to the same studio heads to make e decision on whether they want to keep Amber Heard in Aquaman Franchise.
The online calls for Amber Heard’s firing are mostly based on the numerous accusations that have been tossed in her way throughout the years. She has already testified in the court about Johnny Depp’s abusive behavior; her ex-husband gave his slew of wild stories during his trial with The Sun. Because of that reason, we think that nearly more than 1 million fans in the petition have been making their voices known.
As Depp was released from the Fantastic Beast Film last week, we think that decision was made by the WarnerBros solely based on the events of his loss in the court. The legal Court of UK sided with The Sun, which seems like a victory for Heard as of now. But still, both of them now have to go through their legal battle in the States.
There have been no revelations made from the side of The Warner Bros about their plans on Amber Heard. But we think they will probably decide after the results of their legal battle in courts.
However, it will be an interesting thing to see if, by any means, Johnny Depp’s legal case against Amber Heard is won, then will ‘The Warner Bros’ make a similar decision as they have taken against Johnny Depp. According to our assumptions, we think if Depp wins the legal case against Amber Heard, then Warner Bros will have no other option than to fire Heard from her role in Aquaman Franchise.
