Xiaomi Launched Redmi Note 9 during the first of 2020, and now the company is planning to release Redmi Note 9 5G Standard Edition and Redmi Note 9 5G Pro Edition in India. Both these Standard Edition and Pro Edition smartphones have reportedly been spotted in TENAA, revealing some key specifications about the phone. The Redmi Note 9 Series is said to be releasing new phones; however, it is still unclear whether there will be two phones launched or three. According to specifications and model numbers, there have been two Xiaomi Phones under Redmi Note 9 Series. Still, there have been rumors earlier that the Chinese company is planning to launch three new Redmi Note 9 Series smartphones.
Redmi Note 9 5G Series: Specifications
Both the phones have popped in the TENAA listing, and it seems Xiaomi Phone with model number M2007J22C is believed to be Redmi Note 9 5G Standard Edition. The Redmi Note 5G Standard Edition may come with a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080*2400 pixels IPS display probably. When it comes to CPU, the phone goes up to 2.4 GHz, which is said to be MediaTek Dimensity 800U Soc.
The Redmi Note 9 5G Pro Edition, which has been listed in TENAA as model number M2007J17C, is expected to feature a slightly bigger screen that is 6.67-inch full HD+ display 1080*2400 Pixels resolution.
RAM
The standard edition is expected to arrive with 3 RAM variants, mainly 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory, and 8GB RAM and 256GB internal memory that opens up a lot of options for the buyers to buy as these variations will be available in the different price range.
And for The Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, it will be available with three options 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM with 64GB, 128GB, and 256 GB internal storage. Snapdragon 750G will power the Redmi Note 9 Pro as per the TENAA listing.
Camera Specifications
The Redmi Note 5G will come with a triple rear camera setup, a 48 MP primary sensor, and in front a 13 MP selfie camera. And for The Note 9 Pro 5G edition that goes under the model number M2007J17C will have a 108 Megapixels primary camera and 16 MP selfie camera.
Connectivity and Battery Specifications
The Redmi Note 5G will be available with 5G support and a 4900 mAh battery with 22.5 fast-charging options, whereas The Redmi Note 5G Pro will have a 4820 mAh Battery life with 33-watt fast charging options. The standard edition version will weigh around 200 grams, whereas the Pro version will be slightly taller and will weigh about 214 grams.
There have been some reports of Xiaomi launching three phones in Redmi 9 5G Series, but their names are still unclear, and the company has not spilled beans on the names of these upcoming Note 9 Series nor Redmi 10 series.
