During the firm’s earnings call, EA has shed some light on details about the title, including its release window.
Battlefield 6 will be released by holiday 2021. During the earnings call, EA said:
DICE is creating our next Battlefield game with never-before-seen scale. The technical advancements of the new consoles are allowing the team to deliver a true next-gen vision for the franchise. We have hands-on play testing underway internally, and the team’s been getting very positive feedback on the game as we’ve begun to engage our community.
Aside from these details, the company did not push forward to shed some more light regarding the game’s release. It also did not reveal which platforms the game will be available on, although it is quite apparent that it will be available on PC as well as on the next-gen consoles i.e., the PS5 and the Xbox Series S & X.
EA studio boss Laura Miele also added:
Our studios are taking their crazy ambitious ideas and making them real. Every console generation DICE sets the bar for excellence in audio and visual presentation. We are creating epic battles at a scale and fidelity, unlike anything you’ve experienced before.
