The American thriller TV series The Blacklist Season 8 is around the corner, and fans cant wait to see the showdown between sir. Reddington and Agent Keen. Season 7, featuring 19 episodes, concluded in May 2020, while the eighth season was already renewed back in February.

The Blacklist Season 8 will be among the hot topics for the fans, and with its premiere approaching, the official team is not shying away from hyping us. The show has been a huge hit ever since it made its debut, and after season 7’s ending, fans immediately started searching on the internet about season 8’s storyline. 

The show has released its first look into season 8, and we can already sense an exciting season up ahead. We already know that Blacklist Season 8 will pick from where season 7 left off. So, it’s evident that Elizabeth Keen will be going after Raymond Reddington to take him down for good. 

The new trailer shows Keen as she prepares to take Reddingdown, and she is all fired up for that. Both can be seen plotting against one another, which indicates that Keen’s efforts will be put to the ultimate test. Apart from that, Liz will be having a ‘deep impact’ in the storyline, and after season 7’s finale, fans will see how she and Katarina work together.

Apart from that, regarding the Sikorsky Archive, Jon Bokenkamp told EW that it “is incredibly important, and is part of the deep mythology that goes back to the beginning of the show.” John Eisendrath sheds light on Liz’s character and revealed that Liz has changed from the last time fans saw her. She is now all set to enter her dark side to get her motives done.

The Blacklist Season 8 Release Date and Cast

As far as the cast goes, we expect all the prominent faces to return. That means fans will see James Spader, Megan Boone, Diego Klattenhoff, Harry Lennix, Amir Arison, Hisham Tawfiq as Raymond “Red” Reddington, Elizabeth “Liz” Keen, Donald Ressler, Harold Cooper, Aram Mojtabai, and Dembe Zuma. We expect to see some new faces in season 8 as well.

Season 8 is expected to feature at least 20-22 episodes.

The Blacklist Season 8 will be released on 13th November 2020, and you will be able to watch it on NBC.
