Table of contents
The upcoming installment of Spiderman Starring Tom Holland had made all the fans extremely excited about it. Tom Holland reportedly landed in Atlanta, Georgia, intending to kick-start the filming of Marvel and Sony’s Spider-Man 3. We know that the forthcoming sequel will not be called Spider-Man 3, as that movie already exists.
Understanding how Sony and Marvel incorporation have been approaching these movies, we can surely accept some title changes. However, we will only get our answers to these questions after the completion of the filming. There have been many new updates surfacing across the internet on what Spiderman’s third installment will be all about.
There is plenty of new information that will be revealed as to who the actors are joining the sets of Spiderman 3(2021). But as the fans wanted more updates on the upcoming Sony’s Spider-Man 3, today, in this article, we will discuss all the recent updates associated with it.
Spider-Man 3 Who are the casts that are going to Return?
The main lead Tom Holland will obviously return as Peter Parker (The Spider-Man); Jacob Batalon will also be in the 3rd installment as Ned Leeds, along with Zendaya as MJ.
Now talking about the mentor role as Tony Stark is no longer alive now, Benedict Cumberbatch, as Dr. Strange, now will play a mentor role in Spider-Man 3. Because as per the comics, when Spider-Man’s identity was revealed, he first seeks help from Benedict Cumberbatch.
As at the end of Far from Home, Spider-Man’s identity was revealed, we think he will now go to Dr. Strange and will want strange to erase all the memories from the world so that everyone forgets who the Spider-Man is.
Now coming to the new inclusion in the cast, Tobey Maguire & Andrew Garfield are expected to join the cast and portray Spider-Man roles from two different timelines. Although these rumors are still not confirmed, that doesn’t mean that they are not true; I guess we will get our answers soon.
Now coming to the main part in Spider-Man 3, Jamie Foxx would be reprising his role as Electro in the movie. The last time we witnessed Foxx in a Spiderman movie was in The Amazing Spider-Man that was not an MCU Movie. This time, I think we will get to see somewhat a new and more powerful Electro than the one we witnessed in The Amazing Spiderman.
Jake Gyllenhaal may also return in the third installment as well, although, after the end of Far from Home, he seemed severely injured but considering he is a trickster, you cannot keep him out of the game.
Also, JK Simmons has revived his role as J Jonah Jameson. Marisa Tomei will also be returning as Aunt May in the third installment along with Jon Favreau, although we are uncertain whether their romance now will continue or not.
These are all the information we have on the Spider-Man 3 cast as of now. If we receive any further updates on the cast, we will update this portion of the article right here.
The Sony boss Tony Vinciquerra has already stated that Spider-Man 3 will only be released at that time if only cinemas are back open and operating at significant potential.
Spider-Man 3(2021) Plot?
There has not been any plot revealed on Spider-Man, but it was revealed that Ned Actor Jacob Batalon was mind blown reading the script of Spider-Man 3. Batalon plays Peter Parker’s best friend’s character Ned Leeds recently.
He has also shared his new look for the third installment, where we saw Batalon had lost more than 100 pounds for the movie. That is all the updates we have on Spider-Man 3. If we receive any update on the Plot of Spider-Man 3, we will just update this portion of our article here. Till then, keep following MediaScrolls for more such updates.
