Apex Legends Season 7 Is All Set to Release This November. Here are the Details

Apex Legends Season 7

Hello gaming geeks and peeps, welcome to MediaScrolls. Today in this article, we will talk about the videogame Apex Legends and its Season 7 release details and all the new stuff that it is bringing along with it. Apex Legends is a free-to-play multiplayer battle-royale videogame developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts(EA).

With the very hobby of gaming expanding beyond the single-player genre, multiplayer gaming is the new trend that’s set in because what is the fun in gaming if we aren’t sharing it with our friends. The trend started kicking in with the Counter-Strike franchise but has spread like wildfire since the advent of Fortnite and PUBG, which debuted a few years ago. Today we will be talking about one of such franchises, and that’s Apex Legends. Though its rivals have broadened their reach into the mobile platform, this title has been released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms. The release is very recent as the game was launched on 4th February 2019, with the studios planning to release a Nintendo Switch version in 2021.

The gaming franchise has received overwhelming reviews because of its unique library of advanced weaponry and its inanimated set of characters.

The theme of playing Apex Legends is exactly similar to the likes of PUBG and Call of Duty, i.e., get down into a gigantic map arena with your team of 2’s or 3’s and survive till the last diminished zone (only if you and your team are strong and bold enough). The franchise has also surged massive popularity with over 80 million players worldwide as per this year’s survey. It has received overwhelming reviews from critics and gamers not only for its polished gameplay and progression system but also because of its unique library of advanced weaponry and its inanimated set of characters, both of which seem heavily inspired by another multiplayer battle-royale game, Fortnite.

Apex Legends Season 7  Release Details

Since its release, the game has had six seasons to date, and from the very next month, it will be shooting off to another brand new season, i.e., Season 7. Apex Legends Season 7 is going to release on 4th November 2020, and just like the studios introduced new elements and updates in the previous season, this season is also packing in some brand new hot shit that will dial up the thrill factor of the game. Here’s a trailer for the upcoming season:

The game title reads “Apex Legends,” which means that it introduces a new legend into the game every new season. This season it’s going to be an astrophysicist named Horizon who was trapped in the edge of a black hole for 87 years. But that’s not the main point here. The “oomph” factor is the brand new map that the players will be introduced to – Olympus. The location is a lush and flourishing paradise floating over the clouds. It has multiple carved and properly shaped gardens, which are neatly divided by plazas and buildings. The map looks much less industrial and city-like as it usually did in the previous, but it has a storm named Orb.

The season also packs a brand new vehicle named the ‘Trident,’ which is a 3-seater buggy that lets you and your team members stroll around the map at some really high speeds. The driver will drive the vehicle, whereas the other two will be on the side seats blasting their weapons at the enemies. It looks extremely fun to try after watching the trailer.

Lastly, the upcoming season also brings in a new feature called “finding like-minded players” as the game will be introducing to the new ‘Clubs’ system where players of similar ranks and agendas can group and form teams. New battle passes and season ranking systems stay the same. The game will be debuting on Steam for the first time when the new season rolls over.
