The upcoming American biographical drama, ‘Selena: The Series,’ is only a month away, and finally, Netflix has pulled the curtains on the official trailer. The trailer has gained tremendous positive response from the fans, and the actors were praised as well. Netflix’s ‘Selena: The Series,’ shedding light on one of the most celebrated entertainers of the modern era, the late Selena Quintanilla-Perez, has just released the first teaser, and fans can’t wait till December to watch the show. Ever since the official reveal took place, emotions rose among Selena Quintanilla’s fan base. After watching the trailer, it’s safe to assume that the show will do justice to the late entertainer.

Apart from the trailer, we got other important details about the show as well. As a matter in fact, ‘Selena: The Series’ will be in two parts. The first part will be consisting of six-hour-long episodes and will debut in December 2020.

The trailer of the biographical drama beautifully showcases Selena’s rise to fame and encapsulates all the raw emotions both relating to her and her fans. The trailer kicks off with Selena making her way to the stage, and the scene shifts to Abraham Quintanilla, who is seen listening to a young Selena. The trailer then follows her in her journey to transform into a talented teen singer.

Before she became the Queen of Tejano Music, Selena Quintanilla was a young girl from Texas with big dreams and an even bigger voice.

It further adds that the series will follow Selena’s hardships, struggles, and sacrifices closely as she transforms from working in small gigs into becoming the most successful female Latin artist of all time.

The initial reaction from the fans has been incredibly overwhelming. With the comment section flooding with high praises for the actors, we can easily presume that the same will happen when the show premiers on Netflix.

Selena: The Series’ cast includes “The Walking Dead” star Christian Serratos. Alongside her, fans will see Ricardo Chavira, Seidy López, Gabriel Chavarria, and Noemi Gonzalez. 

The actors will play the roles of Abraham Quintanilla, Marcella Quintanilla, A.B. Quintanilla, and Suzette Quintanilla.
