In this article, we will talk about an anime series, One Punch Man and its Season 3 release date, and much more. The anime series has been adapted from the digital manga issues of the same title. It talks about a Japanese superhero character named Saitama.
He possesses so much power that he can defeat any opponent with a single punch. But he grows bored due to the lack of challenges that come his way, and hence he patiently waits for a worthy foe who would fight him toe-to-toe one day.
The original manga series was created by a Japanese manga artist named ONE. He started writing the webcomic in 2009. The love that was showered on the character by the manga readers forced the adaptation of the anime.
The very first season of One Punch Man aired back in 2015. One Punch Man anime series has been directed by Shingo Natsume and Chikara Sakurai. It has been produced by Chinatsu Matsui, Nobuyuki Hosoya, Keita Kodama, Ayuri Taguchi, and Sota Sato.
One Punch Man Season 3 Release Date
Though One Punch Man is an extremely loved character among anime fans, it must be known that each season of the anime takes quite a lot of time to release. The production houses put in a lot of effort in making the show awesome and memorable from every angle. Season 2 of the anime ended with a bang in July 2019. Since then, fans have been craving for the character’s return on their TV screens and streaming platforms.
But we have to remember that the production took a considerable gap of around four years between the end of Season 1 in 2015 and the beginning of Season 2 in 2019. Hence, Season 3 is not likely to release any time soon. The delay might be even more because of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak this year that hasn’t even allowed the production houses to start their preparation for Season 3 yet.
Though words around the production suggest that Season 3 will be even more action-packed than Season 2, the character of Genos is likely to be absent for large parts of the next season.
Simultaneously, the manga series’ development will also go on with the expansion of humor content for the next season. Although Season 3 will concentrate more on Saitama’s life, it will be taking the fights directly into the homes (caves) of the monsters.
Also, it is being speculated that Saitama won’t be the only superhero in the season, and a team of other superheroes will accompany him.
The fights against the monsters will be highly entertaining and funny, but Saitama and Garou’s marquee fight sequence will change the entire scenario.
This is where Season 3 would start getting serious, and it is also being predicted that Garou will now rely on ‘beast pills’ for extra strength to become a considerable and worthy foe for the One Punch Man.
Season 1 and 2 of One Punch Man is available on Netflix.
