Raghupati Raghav Rajaram (RRR): SS Rajamouli’s Next Blockbuster to Release Soon

SS Rajamouli’s new direction and D V. V. Danayya’s production RRR is an upcoming Telegu action drama movie. It is a fictional story about Alluri Sitaram Raju and Komaram Bheem, the two Indian freedom fighters who fought against the British Raj and the Nizam of Hyderabad subsequently.

The film was supposed to be released on 30 July 2020, but on 5 February 2020, a new release date of 8 January 2021 was announced. On 25 March 2020, the extension of the title for the RRR was revealed as Roudram Ranam Rudhiram in Telugu, Raththam Ranam Rowthiram in Tamil, Rudra Rana Rudhira in Kannada, Rudhiram Ranam Roudhram in Malayalam, and Raghupati Raghav Rajaram in Hindi.

Raghupati Raghav Rajaram (RRR) Who are in the Cast?

Ram Charan and N.T play the main characters of Sitaram Raju and Bheem. Rama Rao. Ray Stevenson, Oliva Morris, and Alison Doody would play major roles in the movie. Ajay Devgan and Alia Bhatt are marking their Telegu debut with this film. Veteran Tamil actor Samuthirakani was roped into playing a crucial role.

Principal photography took place in Hyderabad on the 19th of November, 2018. The first schedule had an action sequence shot at a set constructed in an aluminum factory, Hyderabad. Some of N.T. Rama Rao’s crucial shots have been taken in Bulgaria.

The trailers and teasers showed the use of efficient cinematography. But nothing about the plot can be clearly identified from the trailers and teasers. The background has been set in the pre-independence era with a touch of sepia. There were two teasers released to portray the character of Komaram Bheem, played by N.T. Rama Rao. The trailer portrays all the basic characters where Alia Bhatt is taking Sita’s avatar, which is unknown compared to the other characters. Ray Stevenson is supposed to play the antagonist’s role, although his name has not been revealed.

RRR Trailer:

M. M. Keeravani has directed the music score. He has almost composed over 220 music albums, including Bahubali 1 and 2, SS Rajamouli’s two majestic creations. His national award and the number of Filmfare awards are enough promising for the audience to expect beautiful songs from this film.

Although the trailer looks auspicious, there have been certain criticisms that are being faced by Rajamouli for his motion picture. Adivasis are having issues since Junior N T R, who is playing the role of Bheem, is seen in a white kurta and white skull cap. Although he can be identified as a tribal warrior, it is ironic because Komaram Bheem was a “Kattar Hindu” instead of an Adivasi. Rajamouli, however, has raised the issue of Kumaran Bheem’s fight for ‘Jal, Jangal and Jameen’ with some scenes in which the actor has raised a flag bearing the slogan.

Videos have been made viral where a youth chanting Hindu religious slogans has raised objections for the scene as it was insulting the sentiments of a section of society. Rajamouli has been asked to delete the scene, but no further information has been found about such changes.

After the Bahubali series’ success and such a power pact cast and trailer, it is pretty obvious for the audience to raise their hopes for this upcoming film RRR. It is expected that all would like Rajamouli’s creation, and the 400 crores film would mark its zenith in the Telegu as well as the Bollywood industry.
