Zack Snyder’s Justice League became a hot topic ever since it was officially revealed, and the drama surrounding it has been surreal. The upcoming flick has already drawn major eyeballs, and with the hype created, it’s official release will be a very special day. As per the latest development, Jared Leto will be joining the party and his character, Joker.
Jared Leto’s sudden inclusion into the film comes as a surprise to many fans, especially after his past absence. Considering the fact that he didn’t appear in 2017’s Justice League film, the new development feels kind of strange.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League: Jared Leto joins the film

The report comes directly from The Hollywood Reporter, and according to it, Leto’s Joker joins the production of Zack Snyder’s Justice League’s additional scenes.
Nevertheless, Leto’s fans will be delighted to see the actor playing Joker once again; however, his role in the movie is still under wraps. Sources say that Zack Snyder might have a special plan for him, but we need to wait to know precisely how Joker’s involvement will impact the movie. Leto himself admitted that he would love to return as the character to the screen, under special conditions.
Leto’s first appearance as Batman’s arch-nemesis came in Suicide Squad, and it involved some controversies regarding performance as Joker. Regardless, he revealed that he would still be interested in playing the characters. In an interview with Variety, Leto said, “I would definitely play the Joker again,” Leto said. “It all depends on the script and the circumstances, as it always does.” So it will be interesting to see him back in the apparent Justice League part 2 (Zack Snyder’s cut).
Zack Snyder’s Justice League, aka ‘Snyder Cut,’ is the directorial cut of the movie Justice League which made its debut back in 2017. The film will include parts edited, approved, and initially intended by Zack after Joss Whedon claimed the big chairs. Snyder confirmed that the theatre version only had a ‘quarter’ of what he planned, so there is a lot to look forward to when the flick lands on HBO Max.
Reports from The Hollywood Reporter also confirm that both Geoff Johns and Jon Berg will not be receiving any credits for the film. The duo served as the 2017’s film’s executive producers, under the new direction of Joss Whedon. It’s because the duo isn’t executives anymore, and also wasn’t involved in the new film.
The 2017’s film didn’t perform as planned, and with mixed reviews from the critics, the film failed to perform at the box-office. It earned a disappointing $657 million against a break-even $750 million, thereby costing Warner Bros. Pictures around $60 million.
The upcoming Zack Snyder’s Justice League is currently under production with actors Ben Affleck, Amber Heard, and Ray Fisher. It will be a four-hour-long movie and will feature Darkseid as the baddie. Justice League Snyder’s Cut’s release date is set in 2021, and you will be able to watch it on HBO’s new streaming service, HBO Max.
