Dexter Revival Release Date A Limited TV Series Coming To Showtime

Dexter Revival, the American crime drama television series, is all set to return with a 10 episode limited series. 2020 was a year full of shocks where very little would have overwhelmed anyone. After the renewal updates on Dexter, Michael C. Hall reprising his role as Dexter Morgan, one of the most beloved TV characters, the fans have become extremely excited about the show.

It was announced just a few days ago, around Wednesday, around 14 October 2020, that a 10 episode limited series will release. The co-president of entertainment for Showtime, Gary Levine, said: “Dexter is such a special series for the millions of fans out there and also for Showtime, as this breakthrough show helped put our network on the picture many years ago.”

Dexter Revival: When Will It Release?

Dexter Revival is expected to arrive by the fall of 2021. We have not got any updates from the network Showtime concerning the release date of Dexter Revival. But as per the updates, the revival series will start production from 2021, and it is expected to arrive by autumn 2021. We only know that Michael C. Hall will be reprising his role as Dexter Morgan. Apart from that, we think Dexter’s adopted sister Debra played by Jennifer Carpenter, will also return in the revival series. Hall was nominated in Emmy nominee for best actor for five times for his work in Dexter. The last five nominations occurred in back-to-back years for Dexter’s work (prior in his career, he got an Emmy nomination for his Six Feet Under) performance. Apart from that, Hall also received five back-to-back Golden Globe nominations and six Screen Actors Guild nominations for Dexter’s role and won both the honors in 2010.

Dexter has also won a Peabody Award in 2008 and was twice elected for AFI’s top 10 television series. In 2010, Hall and Lithgow won a Golden Globe for their performances in season four in their respective categories.
