Dexter Revival, the American crime drama television series, is all set to return with a 10 episode limited series. After the renewal updates on Dexter, Michael C. Hall reprising his role as Dexter Morgan, one of the most beloved TV characters, the fans have become extremely excited about the show.

It was announced on 14 October 2020, that a 10 episode limited series will release. The co-president of entertainment for Showtime, Gary Levine, said: “Dexter is such a special series for the millions of fans out there and also for Showtime, as this breakthrough show helped put our network on the picture many years ago.” Now the wait is finally over Dexter Season 9 trailer along with the release date has been revealed officially.

Apart from that Dexter Season 9 will also feature the following actors in the ninth installment of the show: Alano Miller, Jamie Chung, Johnny Sequoyah, Oscar Wahlberg, Michael Cyril Creighton, Clancy Brown, and Jack Alcott. The last five nominations occurred in back-to-back years for Dexter’s work (prior in his career, he got an Emmy nomination for his Six Feet Under) performance. Apart from that, Hall also received five back-to-back Golden Globe nominations and six Screen Actors Guild nominations for Dexter’s role and won both the honors in 2010.

Dexter has also won a Peabody Award in 2008 and was twice elected for AFI’s top 10 television series. In 2010, Hall and Lithgow won a Golden Globe for their performances in season four in their respective categories.
